I could go crazy on a night like tonight
Summer’s beginning to give up her fight
And every thought’s a possibility
And the voices are heard but nothing is seen
Why do you spend this time with me
Maybe an equal mystery?

Every late summer this song pops into my head and sets up its place in my thoughts until the wind turns cold. There is something about September, the warm days leading into crisp cool nights…not quite fall, but not quite summer either. This is my favorite time of year. This is the time of year that I most miss home in Wisconsin, when Mother Nature puts on her best display of color before giving in to Old Man Winter. Won’t you share some of her color with me? My Fall Photo Challenge #FallFrenzy30 is starting soon, and I would love for you to join me. The members of the #SummerTwilight30 did some amazing things (which you can see here)! I’m so proud of them and can’t wait to see what they come up with this fall. Won’t you take a journey with us on this Fall Photo Challenge and capture and preserve 30 days of memories? The fun is starting on October 28th and you can sign up to be part of the fun right here.
Today is the 275th day of 2015. Less than 85 sleeps til Christmas! But also, I have 274 days of consecutive picture taking under my belt. Wow. I’m already wondering if I will launch another 365 project come January? I guess I will worry about that later…I still have 90 more days of this year to get through. For now, I give you September….I’ll remember. A love once new has now grown old. (Paul Simon)
Truth be told, my reasons for hosting these 30 day challenges is a little selfish. YOU ALL keep me inspired. Your enthusiasm keeps me excited to keep on going. So please, help a girl out…show me your best fall colors, whatever those may be in your part of the world, and join me on the #FallFrenzy30 journey. I can’t wait to cheer you on. I can’t wait to see YOUR photos.
be joyful,

We know that in September, we will wander through the warm winds of summer’s wreckage.
We will welcome summer’s ghost.
