“And suddenly you know: It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.”
― Meister Eckhart
Welcome friends! I could not be more excited to welcome you to my new little corner of the interwebs….my new home if you will. If you were at my real home, I’d invite you in, pour you a cup of coffee, or better yet, a glass of Louis Martini Cabernet and settle in to hear all about your summer so far. I know many of you have been traveling and I love seeing your photos of fish markets in Sicily, beaches in Coronado, Summerfest in Milwaukee. As much as social media can keep our faces buried in our devices, isn’t it born of the ultimate desire we have to stay connected with one another? Facebook definitely falls into the “blessing/curse” arena, amiright? It’s been a lifeline for me to stay connected with my family and friends all over the country. It’s allowed me to meet and connect with some amazing, strong, epic women that I never would have had the chance to know otherwise. You know who you are. It’s YOU, silly.
(but i’m still trying to be better about unplugging every now and then to be present in the here & now).
I’m excited for the changes ahead and hope that you’ll join me as I navigate some fresh waters. It makes me feel excited, well, excited and scared. (bonus points if you can name that musical).
I am heading to Milwaukee next week for #OperationLoveLola. I. cannot. wait. I can’t remember the last time I felt THIS inspired. And I can’t wait to share it will you all. You can read the whole story here. It’s not too late to send in a little something special for our special girl! Next week will be devoted to Lola and Beauty Revived. I have a super special guest lined up and I hope you’ll come back to meet Beauty Revived founder Michelle Gifford. She is dynamic and amazing and I can’t wait for her to visit with us.
