How do you define Real Beauty?
For me? My amazing mother Dori is my defining force of real beauty. Selfless and compassionate. Encouraging and strong. Courageous and humble. A woman who worked hard her whole life to ensure each of her children was happy and healthy. A woman who put her own needs last after those of her family. A woman whose faith and quiet strength is a testament to all who know her. A woman whose heart is as beautiful as her face. A woman who is my Mom. She is Beautiful. She is Beauty Revived.
Real Beauty is found in kindness, courage and compassion. A person with real beauty shows their beauty through their service to others, strength when tried, and courage in defeat.
Along with fellow photographers, bloggers and friends, I am taking a stand for real beauty in conjunction with Beauty Revived’s search for America’s 50 Most Beautiful Women.
Nominations are open July 20-29. One woman will be chosen from each state for a free photo shoot and to be in an upcoming issue of Beauty Revived magazine.
Do you know a woman who deserves to be recognized for her real beauty? Of course you do. Nominate her today.
