My poor neglected blog! Don’t let the lack of content here let you think that things are slow here at Michaela Ristaino Photography. Quite the contrary. Life has been so busy that finding time to share has been a challenge. Actually, one of my resolutions for 2018 was to be more present in my daily life and less plugged in to social media. Connecting with people in a real and meaningful way is what it’s really about, right?

Here is one of the many families I was able to connect with this year. I had done Dana’s headshots 2 years ago, so when she called for family photos, I was super excited to meet her beautiful clan. We met at Phillippi Estate Park for their Sarasota Family photography session.

This is what I love most about senior sessions. When a senior walks in feeling like herself, the photos just follow. We moved around, laughed a little, and by the end we had a whole gallery that actually looked like her.

Not a generic senior portrait. Her.
