What I Learned From My First Photo Challenge | Sarasota Family Photography

Challenge photos from the Summer Twilight 30 photo challenge hosted by Ristaino Photography of Sarasota FL

Sometimes I forget that some people are new to this whole photography thing. I forget that for some, this is their first photo challenge. Annoying, right? Actually, one of the things I love most about my 30 Day Challenge is that it opens up a whole world of photography to people who think you need a...

I was very surprised to learn that you only use an iPhone! Your work is stunning, and I especially like the flashlight tip. Curious about editing on iPad. I edit with Aviary on an Android phone and think the only way to edit on iPad is to email photo to myself. Thoughts?ReplyCancel

        Hey Deb!

Fortunately (or unfortunately) the beauty of the Apple koolaid is that if you have an iPhone, your images automatically sync between devices. So, they automatically pop up on the iPad if you have an iPhone.

For Android, you could download Dropbox (or another cloud server) and have all your photos sync to dropbox and can then pull them down to your iPad fairly easily.

        Hope that helps!ReplyCancel

Parents of seniors tell me the same thing after graduation: "I wish I'd taken more photos."

Not just the big events, the everyday moments too. The messy bedroom. Late-night homework. Running out the door to practice.

Those are the ones you'll miss the most, and they're yours to catch, not mine.

I made a free list of the 27 photo moments worth capturing before graduation. Comment SENIOR and I'll send it straight to your DMs.
Raise your hand if you're already dreading the "last first day of school" photo 🙋‍♀️

Same. Which is exactly why I put together a free list of the 27 moments actually worth capturing this year, the firsts, the everyday stuff, the milestones, and the lasts.

Comment SENIOR and I'll send it your way.
