Choose your location on the Mini Sessions page and pick an available date and time. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Life happens, I get it. If something comes up, just reach out and I’ll always try to find you another spot on the calendar first. That said, because mini session dates fill fast and I’m often turning away other families to hold your spot, a canceled session does forfeit the non-refundable session fee. Rescheduling is available based on what’s still open, so the earlier you reach out, the more options we’ll have.

Mini sessions are quick by design, so timing matters more than usual. I’ll always do my best to work with you, but arrivals more than 5 minutes past your start time won’t be able to get a full session, and the session fee isn’t refundable in that case. A quick text if you’re running behind helps me help you.

I keep a close eye on the weather to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos. If weather conditions make your session unsafe, I’ll reach out as soon as possible to reschedule you for the next available date and time.

Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early. That gives everyone time to check in, grab some water, and settle in before we start, so we can spend your full session actually taking photos instead of catching our breath.

These are your photos, so wear what makes your family feel like yourselves. My favorite trick: let mom pick her outfit first, something she feels amazing in, and build everyone else’s looks around that. From there, lean coordinated, not matchy: pick a color palette you all love rather than identical outfits, mix textures and tones, and skip anything with a big logo or graphic that’ll pull focus from your faces.

If you’ve got small props with real meaning to your family, bring them along. I’ll work them into the session wherever I can.

Yes! Well-behaved pups are always welcome.

Make sure everyone’s fed before you arrive. Nothing derails a 15-minute session faster than a hungry toddler (or, honestly, a hungry parent). And if you’ve got a teenager who’d rather be anywhere else, a heads-up beforehand goes a long way, that plus a reminder that it’s only 15 minutes usually gets you a lot further than a surprise.

My contracted turnaround is 3 weeks, but I do my best to get galleries to you within one week of your session.
