January in Pictures | Project 365 | Sarasota Portrait Photographer

    raindrops on windshield

And just like that, I am one month into my next Project 365. I’m again posting images to Instagram daily and following prompts from the beth-a-dilly challenge. I’ve been asked how I stay motivated? Honestly, the answer is YOU. Who doesn’t love validation? I heard from many of you over the past year that you...

      Announcing #Snowback15 | A 15 Day Photo Challenge

      15 Day Photo Challenge

It’s dark by 4:30pm and time for taking pictures is severely limited. ::sigh:: BUT what about all those pictures you took last summer that are still sitting on your phone...

365 Photo Project | I did it! | Sarasota Photographer

365 photo project using Instagram by Ristaino Photography a Sarasota senior photographer

wisconsin midwinter by sarasota headshot photographer michaela ristaino

mid-winter In the bleak mid-winter Frosty wind made moan, Earth stood hard as iron, Water like a stone; Snow had fallen, snow on snow, Snow on snow, In the bleak mid-winter Long ago. Our God, Heaven cannot hold Him Nor earth sustain; Heaven and earth shall flee away When He comes to reign: In the...

She came in with a vision. She wouldn’t settle for anything less.

And she was right.

Olivia, you were an absolute dream to photograph. Most opinionated? Maybe. I just call that a girl who knows who she is and what she wants. These are just a few of my favorites, but honestly it was hard to choose. Can’t wait to share the rest with you!

If you have a Class of 2026 or 2027 senior who knows exactly what she wants, let’s make it happen. Link in bio.

And then golden hour hits and she can’t stop laughing and I catch the shot and she is absolutely a photo person. Always was.

That part never changes, no matter how many sessions I do.

If you have a class of 2026 or 2027 senior, let’s start dreaming up her perfect session. Link in bio.
