The second month of my Instagram 365 project redux is complete.

Late February, and the air’s so balmy snowdrops and crocuses might be fooled into early blooming.
Then, the inevitable blizzard will come, blighting our harbingers of spring, and the numbed yards will go back undercover.
In Florida, it’s strawberry season— shortcake, waffles, berries and cream will be penciled on the coffeeshop menus.

We got an extra day yesterday. Leap year. The quirky oddity of that was sort of lost on me until this morning. It was just another day, filled with work and conference calls, little celebrations and faint disappointments. Pretty much just like any other day. I feel like I missed an opportunity to celebrate this day in its “extra-ness”. To make up for it, I will celebrate today. I will find opportunities for a bit of extra gratitude, a bit of wonder, and a bit of awe for this life I am so blessed to live. Make today wonderful, friends.
